Love for a loved one

As humans, we are made to love, to care and to protect each other. We are given a heart. A heart to love, a heart to mourn.
My heart is in tears today. Maybe my eyes are dry but my heart is mourning. 
I don't know them, I never met them. But I saw my mother, my father, my sister, my brother over there. I saw myself!
I shivered today sitting in my warm, cosy home.
I felt horrible taking in my warm evening tea.
I found my heart sinking,
I found it closing,
I found my Heart.
And that what makes me human.
